UNS N07090 Spring Wire is a high-performance Ni based alloy having great strength, excellent oxidation resistance, and high temperature characteristics. It is mostly applicable where high thermal and mechanical performance is desired.

Nimonic alloy wire is an ideal product for high temperature application and can be used at temperature not exceeding 950o C (1,742o F). Due to its heat resistance, it is used in operations such as gas turbines, jet engines and other competent performing tasks. The major feature for having very high chromium content makes Nickel Alloy 90 Annealed wire to have very high resistant to oxidation. At high temperatures, it becomes self-healing, as a stable oxide layer is formed on the surface, which does not let the decay proceed.

Werkstoff 2.4632 Bright Wire also has good corrosion and creep resistance and it is also resistant to forms of corrosion like the chemical and stress corrosion cracking that commonly occurs under the severe industrial conditions.
