The galvanized grating clamp is used to fasten the open steel floor to an existing structural member while facilitating a quick, easy and cost effective way of fastening. The galvanized grating clips are suitable for mounting gratings while working on top of the grating floor, so access under the grating is not required.
Galvanized grating clamps consist of standard top clamp, bottom clamp, bolt and nut. It can be supplied as a complete kit or as individual elements. The assembled grating clip is lowered above the grating surface so that the upper clip is on top of the grating, press the lower clip towards the beam flange of the existing steel structure and fasten the bolt from above with simple hand tools. The square nut locks tightly into the slot of the lower clamp, allowing easy top-mounting of the galvanized grate clamp. G Clip, U Type Clip, Disk Type Clip and M Type Saddle clip are some of the clip gratings by Ferrotech provided in both Mild Steel and Hot Dip Galvanised finish.
