Our Inconel 718 Lap Joint Flanges is often used for Pollution-control equipment, Cryogenic storage tanks, Nuclear reactors, and more. These Inconel 718 Ring Type Joint Flanges have good resistance to oxidation and corrosion at temperatures in the alloy’s useful strength range in atmospheres encountered in jet engines and gas turbine operations. The annealed condition of our Inconel 718 Orifice Flanges will give a slightly longer tool life. When heated, these Inconel UNS N07718 Flanges form a thick, stable, passivating oxide layer protecting the surface from further attack.
